Backyard Celebrations and Wedding Fun, Los Angeles California

Backyard weddings rock!  There’s nothing more intimate and cozy then celebrating nuptial festivities in familiar settings.  It adds a certain element to everything and it makes things just that much more meaningful.  Betsy and Mike setup a beautiful day in their spacious 10 acre backyard.  They did an amazing job transforming their backyard into their wedding vision.  The place looked amazing!  The ceremony had a homemade altar and the reception filled the backyard with long feasting tables.  The entire dinner was family style and it was quite a celebration.  Everything was so personal!  Here are a few photographs and glimpses into their beautiful backyard wedding.

All in all this was a beautiful wedding.  The weather was gorgeous and the settings made you feel right at home…literally.  Congratulations.

Walt Disney Concert Hall, Los Angeles, California

It’s hard not to be inspired shooting wedding photographs at the great Walt Disney Concert Hall. Something about being in downtown Los Angeles and hearing the buzz of the city and seeing the soaring lines of Frank Gehry…it just makes you want to photograph your heart out. It gets even more inspiring when you’re there to photograph a wedding!

I had the distinct pleasure of photographing Sandra and Lou’s wedding at the Walt Disney Concert Hall and we had a blast. Prior to the wedding, we ran around the grounds capturing these two amidst a beautiful backdrop.  It was a gorgeous day of love and celebratory festivities.  Here are just a few from their bride & groom wedding session below.

Sandra and Lou had an amazing wedding.  It was too much fun running around the Walt Disney Concert Hall photographing them.  It always takes a stylish couple to choose the Disney Concert Hall and these two couldn’t fit the bill more.  It was a classic and great wedding, cheers to the both of you.
