Had an amazing weekend in Palos Verdes photographing an engagement proposal. A few weeks ago, Alexander had given me a call and asked me to do a small photo shoot for him and his girlfriend. He had planned a romantic weekend getaway at Terrenea and wanted to have some photos done. I met up with the two of them at Malaga Cove in Palos Verdes for a quick photo session, but the real surprise was at the end of the shoot when he got down on one knee! Much to Melinda’s shock, she thought everything was done and then Alexander surprised her with a private dinner on the bluffs of Terrenea overlooking the ocean. He had orchestrated a sunset romantic dinner cooked by a private chef to celebrate the start of a new life together.  It was an amazing day and it’s shoots like these that make me realize how much I love doing what I do. Congratulations you two and best wishes!

I spent the past weekend with Jessmy and Andy exploring the Topanga Canyon fields. I’ve always enjoyed exploring the vastness of Los Angeles, I love it when couples show me new parts of the city! Jessmy and Andy are quite knowledgeable of the best hikes in Los Angeles, I was amazed when they took me to this hidden gem. It’s awe-inspiring that such an open meadow can be found right in Los Angeles! They’ve hiked the Eagle Rock trail a couple times and they’re pretty familiar with Topanga Canyon. The fields and rolling hills of this place were amazing, thanks you two for showing me this spot! I’ll definitely have to come back and hike it in my free time. Congratulations and I hope your wedding day is amazing!
